Our Story

We are Sonia and Lior, an international couple with two kids. We met traveling the world, and after years across continents, languages, and trades, we understood something: home isn't a specific place - it's a feeling. The feeling we got arriving in San Sebastiano da Po, a corner of quiet hills where we finally put down roots.

We restored La Dolce Casa di Sonia with care, brick by brick, so it could become the kind of refuge we ourselves had been looking for while traveling: a quiet, authentic place, where kids can run in the garden and adults can finally breathe. Today we share it with others, because we believe special places should be lived in, not just owned.

When you message us on WhatsApp, on the other side is a real person who knows every corner of the house, the local roads, and the best places to eat around here. No agent, no algorithm. Just us.

Both the host and the co-host were more than kind. They even offered to come to our rescue during a difficult time. The place was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything (washer and dryer included). You can tell right away that it was recently renovated. Extremely quiet and bucolic area.

Yes. We provide a private receipt for the stay. Payment by bank transfer, also in instalments for long stays. No advance deposit required.
Is the −25% discount for 28+ night stays automatic?
Yes — it appears automatically in the calculator when you select 28 nights or more. Progressive discounts: −10% from 7 nights, −20% from 14, −25% from 28. The discount applies to the nights, not the final cleaning (€50 flat).
